About this Program

Digital Literacy Essentials is a 4-week, 24-hour online programme designed for learners who want to build core digital confidence from the ground up. The course begins with the fundamentals of computing β€” understanding hardware and software, navigating operating systems, and managing files β€” before moving into safe and responsible internet use, including cybersecurity basics, password hygiene, and recognizing scams and misinformation.

Learners then gain hands-on experience with everyday productivity tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software, along with cloud storage and collaboration platforms. The programme also covers digital communication and citizenship, including video conferencing etiquette and responsible social media use, and closes with practical problem-solving skills such as basic troubleshooting and an introduction to everyday AI tools. By the end, participants will be equipped to confidently use digital devices and platforms for personal, academic, and professional purposes, earning a RSolutions eLMS certification upon completion.
